Stephan Hochgeschurtz
Stephan Hochgeschurtz ( February 27, 1930 - February 27, 2012 ) was a German football player .
Career
Six months and five days after 1. FC Köln was founded, Stephan Hochgeschurtz played his first game for the billy goats . On September 18, 1948 they won against Blau-Weiß 06 Köln with 2-1 goals. His second appearance on November 21, 1948 in a 1-0 win against SC West Cologne should also be his last. Nevertheless, with these two encounters, he had also contributed to the promotion to the Oberliga West . He later played for Spvgg Andernach , the Rheydter Spielverein and SV Bergisch Gladbach 09 , with which he became German amateur champion in 1953 .
Hochgeschurtz died on his 82nd birthday. He was buried in the Melaten cemetery in Cologne (hall 16 (A)).
