Stephanie Ann Verdoia (born January 2, 1993 in Salt Lake City , Utah ) is a former American soccer player .

Career

During her studies at Seattle University , Verdoia played for the Seattle Redhawks team there from 2011 to 2014 . In early 2015, Verdoia was signed in the fourth round of the College Draft of the National Women's Soccer League in 29th place by the Boston Breakers and made her league debut on April 26, 2015 in a 3-2 home win over the Houston Dash . In the 2016 season, Verdoia won the championship of the semi-professional WPSL with the second team of the Breakers .

After she had not received a contract in Boston for the 2017 season, Verdoia moved to the Norwegian first division club Vålerenga Oslo .

National team

Verdoia was appointed to the US U-23 selection for the first time in February 2015 for the six-nation tournament in La Manga and played two games during the tournament.
