Stereoids ( proper spelling : ste.rɔɪds ) is a German hip-hop production team. Stereoids became known through productions for rappers such as RAF Camora , Alligatoah , Sierra Kidd and Joshi Mizu .

history

Already at the age of 18 the two school friends Benno Calmbach and Dominic Lieder from Karlsruhe began to make music together and to produce for lesser known national and international artists. In 2011 the two moved to Berlin , where they met RAF Camora , who used some of their beats for his album Raf 3.0 . He opened the doors to them in the music business and relatively quickly the two became house producers for the independent label Indipendenza . The next productions included Joshi Mizu , Marc Reis and Sierra Kidd .

On July 11th, 2014 her first own release was released, the Extended Play Adrift , which mainly contains dubstep and house . The rapper is the Karlsruhe rapper Schote , whom the two got to know through the video battle tournament (VBT). The EP was both offered for sale and later offered for free download on their Facebook page.
