RAF 3.0 is the second solo album by the Austrian musician RAF Camora , who appears under the name RAF 3.0. It was released on February 24, 2012 on CD, MP3 and double records. The album went to number 5 in the Austrian and number 7 in the German charts.

background

In December 2010, RAF 3.0 (then still under the name RAF Camora ) announced that it would no longer make pure hip-hop music and that a dancehall- style album was in the works . A short time later he recorded new tracks with KD-Supier in Málaga . The long player was originally supposed to be released in autumn 2011, but the release date has been postponed. The first street single Robot was released at the end of 2011 , followed a few weeks later by the songs Fallen and Wie kann Sie nur . The release celebration took place on February 24, 2012 in a shopping center in Vienna. The album was released on the Viennese label Irievibrations Records , on which RAF 3.0 had previously wanted to release a French-language album, which however did not materialize. The production was also funded by the Austrian Music Fund.

reception

The album received good reviews from the internet portal laut.de , where RAF 3.0 was rated four out of five stars. Both the musical upgrade and the thematic reorientation pay off fully for RAF 3.0. The Austrian not only redefines himself, but also stands out from the extensive German rap landscape with his further development , writes editor Simon Langemann.
