reception

“Cross-cultural - one of the most suitable adjectives to describe RAF Camora and its music. He moves from Vienna to Berlin, was born in Italy and grew up in the French part of Switzerland. His debut album 'Next Stop Future' is no less colorful. First and foremost, he raps and that in German, in most cases sings his hooks himself, which in turn often in French and at the same time he is also his own producer and proves his true musical ability by playing the guitar and keyboard himself . An all-rounder could be said, the Lenny Kravitz of rap, which is also reflected in his lyrics. "

“'Next stop future', so the album title, keeps what it promises. True to RAF's statement: 'Give me something to make music, tell me which direction and in which language and you'll get an RAF Camora hit!', The CD features a combination of live instruments with vocals and rap entertainment. Sometimes cheerful and Caribbean warm, sometimes serious and then playful again, but always unmistakable and unique. Exactly the art that is trend-setting for the future. "

“With 'Next Stop Future' there is really no brilliant future, but at least RAF Camora delivers a decent and fairly good second album with this work. His diverse productions and concepts help him to achieve a better overall performance, as the framework for the album looks much more rounded overall. Therefore, it is quite gratifying when street rappers think about their work, describe topics and thus offer a lot more content - at least it is fun to hear an album with street themes again, if there is a little more than just battlerap behind it .
