KD Supier

KD-Supier (born February 8, 1983 in Paris ; civil name David Barenboim) is a German-French former producer and songwriter . He is the son of the conductor Daniel Barenboim and the pianist Jelena Baschkirowa .

biography

KD-Supier grew up in his native Paris for nine years, then moved to Berlin in 1992 , where he attended the French high school in Berlin . Due to his father's activity as a conductor, he spent a few months in Chicago , where he also went to school. As a schoolboy he played in several bands, but his first productions were intended for the former group Royal Authority , of which the rapper Megaloh was a member. When the Royal Authority project was ended, KD-Supier founded the music label Level Eight Entertainment together with Megaloh .

In 2006 the sampler Reim was released for business . Guest contributions on the album come from rappers like Massiv , Samy Deluxe , KIZ , Sentino , MC Basstard and Jonesmann . The album was voted the best album in the Homegrown category by Juice magazine . In 2010 KD-Supier produced the complete album of the Berlin rapper Harris .

KD-Supier has a home studio in his apartment. He made his first beats on a Fostex 8-track recorder with the help of a Roland sampler, an Alesis drum machine and a Yamaha keyboard. He now works mainly with Logic and VST plug-ins. His brother Michael Barenboim is a classical violinist.

In 2011 aggro.tv awarded him the gold plate for the Halt die Fresse -Allstars-Track, which had more than 3,000,000 views on the YouTube video platform . In February 2012, the album RAF 3.0 by the musician of the same name was released. KD-Supier was therefore in Málaga for a few weeks with RAF 3.0 and worked on this album. The album reached number 5 on the Media Control Charts.

On July 5, 2013, the album Hoch 2 by RAF 3.0 was released, in which KD-Supier participated.

KD has been working under the artist name Solarrio since 2014.
