Steven Vinaver
Steven Vinaver (born December 28, 1936 in Berlin , † July 28, 1968 in Pittsfield , Maine ) was an American playwright and director.
The son of Chemjo Vinaver and Mascha Kaléko emigrated with his parents to the USA in 1938 and later staged on Broadway and at the Berlin Schiller Theater . In addition to his work for the theater, he also wrote a number of screenplays for American television and also directed television. He was also a librettist for musical shows. Vinaver died at the age of 31 after a serious illness.
