The Stevens-cliff is a 200 m high and 5 km-long cliff on the Scott Coast of the East Antarctic Victoria Land . On the north shore of Granite Harbor , it looms between Tiger Island and Cape Archer .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it in 1999 after the US cartographer Alan R. Stevens, who played a key role in geodetic programs for the United States Geological Survey in the 1990s and worked in the McMurdo Sound area between 1994 and 1995 .
