The Stevenson Cove is a bay on the Budd Coast of the East Antarctic Wilke country . It is located on the north side of the Clark Peninsula .
Aerial photographs of the US-American Operation Highjump (1946-1947), the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions and a Soviet Antarctic expedition in 1956 were used to map them. The American polar explorer Carl R. Eklund carried out measurements of the bay on site in 1957. Eklund named it after Andrew Stevenson, economic advisor on the United States House Committee on Internal and Foreign Trade, who had written a report on the International Geophysical Year (1957-1958).
