Steffen Britzke , also known as Stevie B-Zet , is a German keyboardist and producer in the electronic music scene.

Well-known productions are for example B-Zet - Everlasting Pictures (Right Through Infinity) or Zyon - No Fate , published by Eye Q Records . From Everlasting Pictures he took years later along with Laith Al-Deen a new version in German on: pictures of you . The text was originally sung by Darlesia Cearcy, who was on stage at the rock opera Tommy in the Capitol in Offenbach.

Stevie B-Zet played the keyboards for international artists such as Quincy Jones and Sheila E. He also participated in numerous remix productions, such as B. 1990 at the Megamix of the Italo House Band Black Box .

Musically, he mostly worked with Matthias Hoffmann , often with Ralf Hilden Beutel . With both of them he subsequently founded the production company Schallbau .

Astral pilot

Steffen "B-Zet" Britzke became known above all when working with Sven Väth , with whom he trained a. a. the Astral Pilot music project .

In 1995 the album Electro Acupuncture was released on the Harthouse label (HHLP013), which includes the well-known tracks Needle Drama and Skin Probe .

Väth came up with the name of the album in Japan when, according to him, he was very inspired and impressed by acupuncture due to neck problems. The album features a track over 20 minutes long called The Day After. This was also played in a Hr3 Clubnight with Sven Väth as the opener, and it became the last track played to close the Techno Club Omen .

Some tracks on the album were remixed by artists such as DJ Hell , Claude Young or Alter Ego .

In 1996 the soundtrack for the film The Cold Finger was created . The track The Day After is also included here, but in a 12-minute version. The track Scotty's Arrival was also used as title and closing music for the BR-Alpha series alpha-Centauri with Prof. Harald Lesch .
