The Steyr Terrus, Case IH Optum and New Holland T7 Heavy Duty series are three largely identical tractor series from the CNH Group . The series were developed at the Steyr parent plant in St. Valentin, Austria . The Steyr Terrus and Case IH Optum tractors are also manufactured there. The New Holland models, on the other hand, are manufactured in Basildon , UK . In 2016 the series were voted machine of the year by the German Agricultural Publishing House. In 2018, the series was expanded to include a further model with around 250 hp.
Positioning in the product range
The Steyr Terrus is the most powerful tractor built under the Steyr brand, it is located above the previous top model Steyr CVT. At Case IH, the Optum closes the gap between the Case IH Puma and the Case IH Magnum. At New Holland, the T7 Heavy Duty is positioned between the T7 and the T8.
