Stian Nåvik

Stian Nåvik (born September 19, 1985 in Trondheim ) is a Norwegian biathlete .

Stian Nåvik starts for Trondhjems Skiskyttere . He has competed in international junior competitions since 2002 (2002 in Ridnaun , 2004 in Haute-Maurienne , 2005 in Kontiolahti and 2006 in Presque Isle ). In 2004 he won gold in the Norwegian relay and bronze in sprint and pursuit. The following year he won bronze again in the two individual competitions. There are also several top placements in the junior European Biathlon Cup. Since the 2007/08 season Nåvik started in the Biathlon European Cup , where he was placed in the top ten several times. In January 2008 he won a European Cup race for the first time in Osrblie with the Norwegian relay. A little later he started in Nové Město na Moravě at the 2008 European Biathlon Championships . There he was 14th in the individual, 15th in the sprint, eighth in the pursuit and won the silver medal as a starting runner with Lars Berger , Stian Eckhoff and Magne Thorleiv Rønning in the relay competition.
