Haus Stieg 19 is a listed building in the city of Quedlinburg in Saxony-Anhalt .

It's located east of the city's market square and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site . In the Quedlinburg monument register it is registered as an agricultural citizen's farm. House Stieg 18 , which is also listed, is adjacent to the east and Stieg 20 to the west.

Architecture and history

The street-side three-storey half - timbered house dates from the 17th century. Originally the property was used as a farm. In the late 19th century, the facade of the house was plastered. Around 1890 a shop was built in the style of historicism . The shop facade is extremely gorgeous. In addition to other decorations, there are four so-called caryatids , female figures with a supporting function.

The gate of the courtyard has gate leaves decorated with notches . A three-story half-timbered house is located in the courtyard of the property facing Hell Street.
