Stig Andersson (born March 4, 1931 ) is a former Swedish biathlete .

Stig Andersson won the singles title of the Swedish championships in 1960 and 1961. Internationally he came to the Biathlon World Championships 1961 in Umeå , where he finished 18th in the individual. In the unofficial team classification, in which the three best results of the participants from the different nations were added together, he came third in the unofficial team classification with Klas Lestander and Tage Lundin . He prevailed against fourth, Lenart Björken , for the ranking against as the third-best Swede . The results are now included in the official relay statistics of the International Biathlon Union . From 1957 to 1961 Andersson took part in the Vasalauf , the best place was a 15th place. In 1960 he was awarded the Bergslagspostens Golden Watch for his athletic achievements .
