Tage Lundin started for the Idrottsklubben Berguven in his birthplace Stensele. In Squaw Valley he took part in the 1960 Winter Olympics, where biathlon was Olympic for the first time. With a running time of one hour and 33: 56.3 minutes, the Swede achieved an average time, with six missed shots and the resulting 12 penalty minutes less penalty times than the average and came in 12th place in the overall standings.
