Still Alive - Drama on Mt. Kenya is a documentary film about the rescue of Gert Judmaier on Mount Kenya in 1970; it is Reinhold Messner's directorial debut.

Two climbers climb Mount Kenya and an incident occurs during the descent. The rescue of the casualty is partly depicted by staged scenes, the people acting at the time comment on what they experienced. A rescue operation is initiated and the only intercontinental mountain rescue operation to date takes place.
