Stjepan Peric

Stjepan Perić (born March 1, 1983 in Zagreb , Croatia , SFR Yugoslavia ) is a Croatian actor.

Life

After graduating from high school, he studied law at the University of Zagreb .

In 2003 he decided to pursue his passion for the arts and finished his university studies in favor of an acting career. From 2003 he attended the renowned Academy of Dramatic Art at the University of Zagreb.

The first leading role followed in 2007 as “Werther” in a theatrical version of Goethe's “ The Sorrows of Young Werther ”. For his portrayal of "Orin Mannon" in Eugene O'Neill's "Mourning must carry Elektra" at the Croatian National Theater in Zagreb , he was nominated in 2008 as the best young actor of the Croatian Theater Prize.

In 2009 he wrote the pilot episode for “Instructor” together with the young director Nevio Marasović, in which he also played the main role of the driving instructor, and which would later become one of the most successful TV series in Croatia.

In the following year he decided to relocate to London , where he has been studying at the renowned Central School of Speech and Drama since 2010 .
