Stocksdorf is a district of the Lower Saxony municipality of Ehrenburg in the combined municipality of Schwaförden in the district of Diepholz in Lower Saxony .

The village, three kilometers northwest of the center of Ehrenburg, is on the L 341 . The Kuhbach flows east one kilometer away. The Stocksdorf district also includes the parts of Brelloh, Kiebitzheide, Hohenfelde, Hakeberg and Auf dem Barrel.

history

The oldest documentary mention of Stocksdorf goes back to the years 1519/21. On March 1, 1974, the previously independent communities Schweringhausen , Stocksdorf and Wesenstedt were incorporated into the community of Schmalförden . On April 27, 1976, this community was officially renamed Ehrenburg .
