The Kuhbach near Sulingen flows in the Lower Saxony district of Diepholz and is part of the Weser river system . It is 17.36 km long and has a catchment area of ​​58.5 km².

It rises south of the Twistring district of Scharrendorf at 52 m above sea level, first flows northwards into the village and then eastwards into the old moor . 2.37 km after its origin, it flows at right angles into a ditch, in which it continues to flow south, but gives the Rote Riede in the form of a bifurcation to the north , which flows into the Delme after 2.24 km , 1.84 km further their source. The Kuhbach itself bends south and flows through Ehrenburg, maintaining the same direction . In the case of confused people , it turns to the southeast and flows west of the town center of Sulingen into the Kleine Aue .
