The Storsponen ( Norwegian for Large Span ) is a nunatak in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . In the Mühlig-Hofmann Mountains it rises on the west side of the Hoggestabben .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named it, mapped it on the basis of aerial photographs and measurements of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
