The Hoggestabben ( Norwegian for chopping block ) is a 2410 m high and distinctive witness mountain in Queen Maud Land in East Antarctica . In the Mühlig-Hofmann Mountains, it rises 5 km north of Hochlinfjellet as the highest point of its northern foothills.
Norwegian cartographers, who also named it descriptively, mapped it on the basis of measurements and aerial photographs of the Third Norwegian Antarctic Expedition (1956–1960).
