The Stotze , also Stoze , was a Swiss liquid measure in the Canton of Zurich and Canton Glarus . It was a different expression for the measure of pint , but was not completely identical to this one.

  • 4 studs = 1 dimension
  • 8 prongs = 1 head
  • 60 pieces = 1 quarter of wine Lauterermaß
  • 64 Stotzen = 1 quarter of wine turbidity
  • 240 pillars = 1 bucket
  • 360 posts = 1 hem
  • Eglisau 1 Stotze = 16 ½ Parisian cubic inches = 8/25 liters
  • Winterthur 1 stotze = 16 5/9 Parisian cubic inches
  • Zurich (louder or cloudiness) 1 stotze = 23 Parisian cubic inches = 9/20 liters
  • Zurich (city or gift measure) 1 stotze = 20 7/10 Parisian cubic inches = 2/5 liters
