Strøby Egede is a place on the Danish island of Zealand . It belongs to the municipality of Stevns in the Sjælland region and has 4532 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). Strøby Egede stretches for several kilometers along the south bank of the Køgebucht and has now grown together with Strøby Ladeplads. A few kilometers to the south is the Iron Age burial ground at Himlingeøje .
