Vedskølle is a Danish town with 276 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2020). The village is mostly in the parish of Herfølge ( Herfølge Sogn ), which belonged to Harde Bjæverskov Herred in what was then Præstø Amt until 1970 . With the dissolution of the Harden structure, the parish was included in the Køge Kommune in the former Roskilde Office , the municipality in turn merged with the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 in the enlarged Køge Kommune in the Sjælland region .

Since the municipal reform, part of the village has been on the territory of the Stevns municipality in Valløby Sogn , so that currently (as of January 1, 2020) 2 residents of Vedskølle live in this municipality.

Vedskølle is about five kilometers west of Strøby Egede and about six kilometers south of Køge .
