Strontium telluride is an inorganic chemical compound of strontium from the group of tellurides .

Strontium telluride is a white solid. It has a cubic crystal structure with the space group Fm 3 m (space group no. 225) . At 10.9 GPa there is a phase transition to a CsCl structure with the space group Pm 3 m (No. 221) .
use
Strontium telluride can be used to make highly effective thermocouples .
