Mill operation was stopped in the early 20th century after a switch to motor drive had already taken place. After the building was gutted, it was used as a meeting place for young people. After the Second World War , the mill building served as a storage room and increasingly fell into disrepair. The mill wings were dismantled. From 1994 onwards, friends of the mill collected tools and machines. Today the mill is a children's mill museum.
