Cultural engineering course
University courses in cultural engineering are offered at the Austrian University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna ( course in cultural engineering and water management ), in Germany at the University of Rostock (course in national culture and environmental protection ) and in Switzerland at ETH Zurich (master’s course in environmental engineering ).
The cultural engineering in the sense of these fields of study is directed to the soil culture and can be classified in the series of the environmental sciences . In Switzerland and Germany, graduates of cultural engineering courses often refer to themselves as cultural engineers , in Austria as cultural engineers .
