Su Edrosu
The Dolmen Su Edrosu is the oldest building of the archaeological complex of Tamuli in the province of Nuoro in Sardinia . It was initially kept for the remainder of a giant grave . The chamber has a length of 2.2 and a width of 1.75 meters. The trachyte bearing stones support the only ceiling slab (length 1.35, width 1.05, thickness 0.4 meters). The facility, which faces south-east and whose other remains are barely recognizable, is around eight meters long.
The remainder of the Tamuli archaeological complex is dated to the Nuragic ( Bronze Age ) period. There are two giant tombs and a nurag village.
The number of dolmens in Sardinia is relatively small at around 220. Better preserved examples are:
- Buddusò dolmen
- the four dolmens of Luras
- Motorra
- Runara
- S'Ena 'e sa Vacca
- Dolmen di Monte Acuto
- Sa Coveccada
- Sarbogadas
