Sucre Fútbol Club is a former Colombian football club from Sincelejo , Sucre , which played in the Primera B category for one year .

history

Sucre FC was the successor club of the second division Pacífico FC from Buenaventura . The president of Pacífico FC applied to DIMAYOR in December 2011 to move the club to Sincelejo and to rename it Sucre FC. On December 13, 2011, DIMAYOR agreed.

Sucre FC only took part in the Categoría Primera B 2012 season and was able to take fourth place in the series and made it into the final round. But the club missed the finals. Only tenth place was achieved in the back series.

In late 2012, the club moved to Montería and was renamed Jaguares de Córdoba , who has played in the Colombian second division since the 2013 season.

Stadion

Sucre FC played its home games at the Estadio Arturo Cumplido Sierra in Sincelejo. The stadium has a capacity of around 15,000 seats.
