Sue Gunter
Sue Gunter (born May 22, 1939 in Leake County , Mississippi , † August 4, 2005 in Baton Rouge ) was an American basketball coach . Between 1982 and 2004 she coached the women's basketball team at Louisiana State University . On February 19, 2004, she resigned from the coaching post for health reasons. At this point, Gunter could point to the third highest number of wins in college women's basketball.
On April 4, 2005, Sue Gunter was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame . She is also a member of the Women's Basketball Hall of Fame .
