The Suhindol Point (English; Bulgarian нос Сухиндол nos Suchindol ) is a headland on the southeast coast of Smith Island in the archipelago of the South Shetland Islands . It is 3.6 km east-northeast of Cape James .
Bulgarian scientists mapped it in 2008. The Bulgarian Commission for Antarctic Geographical Names named it in the same year after the city of Suchindol in northern Bulgaria .
