Suchindol (also spelled Suhindol , Bulgarian Сухиндол ) is a city in northern Bulgaria . The city is located in the transition of Vorbalkans to Lower Danube plain . Suchindol is the center of a municipality of the same name and is located in the province of Veliko Tarnovo .
Since 2015, the city has given its name to Suhindol Point , a headland on the southeast coast of Smith Island in Antarctica.
