Suiping

Suiping ( Chinese  遂平县 , Pinyin Suípíng Xiàn ) is a district in Henan Province of the People's Republic of China , which belongs to the administrative area of ​​the prefecture -level city of Zhumadian . Suiping has an area of ​​1,080 km² and a population of 540,000. Its main town is the large community of Quyang (灈 阳镇).

The former satellite people's commune in the Cuoya Mountains (Cuoya shan weixing renmin gongshe jiuzhi 嵖 岈 山 卫星 人民公社 旧址) from 1958–1983 - one of the first Chinese people's communes - has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 2006 (6- 989) .
