Xiping ( Chinese  西平縣  /  西平县 , Pinyin Xīpíng Xiàn ) is a district in the Henan Province of the People's Republic of China , which belongs to the administrative area of ​​the prefecture -level city of Zhumadian . Xiping has an area of ​​1089.77 km² and has a population of 830,000.

The site of the molten iron of Jiudian ( Chinese  酒店冶鐵遺址 , Pinyin Jiǔdiàn yětiě yízhǐ ) from the time of Warring to Jin Dynasty and the pagoda of Baoyan temple ( Chinese  寶嚴寺塔 , Pinyin Bǎoyán sì tǎ ) from the time of the Tang Dynasty have been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China since 1996 and 2006 respectively .
