Biyang

Biyang ( Chinese  泌阳县 , Pinyin Bìyáng Xiàn ) is a district in Henan Province in the People's Republic of China , which belongs to the administrative area of ​​the prefecture -level city of Zhumadian . Biyang has an area of ​​2,789 km² and a population of 950,000. Its main town is the large community of Bishui (泌 水镇).

The site of the iron melt of Xiahewan (Xiahewan yetie Yizhi下河湾冶铁遗址) from the Warring States Period to the Han Dynasty is on the list of since 2006 monuments of the People's Republic of China (6-147) .
