Shangcai
Shangcai ( 上蔡县 , Shàngcài Xiàn ) is a district in Henan Province of the People's Republic of China , which belongs to the administrative area of the prefecture -level city of Zhumadian . Shangcai has an area of 1,517 km² and has a population of 1.36 million. Its main town is the large community of Caidu (蔡 都 镇).
The ancient city of Cai State (Cai guo gucheng 蔡国 故城) has been on the list of monuments of the People's Republic of China (4-28) since 1996 .
