Sujangarh is a city in the Indian state of Rajasthan .

The city is part of the Churu District . Sujangarh has the status of a municipality . The city is divided into 40 wards . It had 101,523 inhabitants on the cut-off date of the 2011 census , of which 51,906 were men and 49,617 women . The literacy rate in 2011 was 73.3%, slightly below the national average. Hindus make up the majority of the city's population with a share of around 65%. Muslims form a minority with a share of around 34%.
