Sulemanu Tetteh

Sulemanu Tetteh (born August 18, 1992 in Accra ) is an amateur boxer from Ghana and 2012 Olympic participant in the light flyweight division .

Boxing career

Tetteh was a participant in the 2010 World Youth Championships in Baku , the 2011 African Games in Maputo and the 2012 African Olympic qualification in Casablanca , where he was knocked out in the quarterfinals by Mohamed Flissi (14:15).

At the Olympic Games in London in 2012 he was defeated in the first fight against Jantony Ortiz from Puerto Rico (6:20). In 2014 he finished 5th at the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow . He won the silver medal at the 2015 African Championships.

In the African Olympic qualification in 2016 he was eliminated in the quarter-finals against Peter Mungai. In 2018 he lost to Amit Panghal at the Commonwealth Games in Australia.
