Sumpafallen is a nature reserve on the Högvadsån river . The reserve has an area of ​​56 hectares and is located in the Swedish municipality of Falkenberg . It is an imperial interest for nature conservation . Sumpafallen is a Natura 2000 area even after a government decision in 1995 .

In addition to Högvadsån and its rapids, the reserve mainly consists of deciduous forest and pasture land. The species found in the reserve include alternate leaf spleen , liverwort , marsh pippau , bitter foam herb, and singleberry . There are freshwater pearl mussels , wild salmon and trout in the water .
