Sund was a municipality in the Norwegian Fylke Hordaland (2020 part of Vestland become), in the south of the island Sotra . As part of the local government reform in Norway , Sund and Fjell were merged with Øygarden on January 1, 2020 .

7062 inhabitants lived on an area of ​​100 km² (as of January 1, 2019). The municipality number was 1245. The last mayor was Kari-Anne Landro ( H ).
