The Membakut ( Mal. Sungai Membakut ) or Membakut River is a river in the Malaysian state of Sabah on Borneo . It rises on the northern slopes of Gunung Tinutudang in the mountainous region of the Crocker Ranges inland from Sabah and flows near membakut in the Kimanis Bay . Together with the Sungai Binsulok, which flows into the bay at Binsulok, it forms the "Sungai Membakut / Binsulok" river system .
