action

After being defeated by their archenemies again, Lex Luthor and Doctor Octopus clash in prison. They decide to work together and escape thanks to an ultrasound transmitter that Luthor had hidden under a layer of artificial skin. The next day, Clark Kent is at a world press conference for professional reasons, when suddenly Superman (Luthor in disguise) appears and causes a stir. Peter Parker, who is also there, immediately puts on his superhero dress and faces Superman, the man of steel, who initially blames him for the doppelganger. In order to ensure more equal opportunities, Luthor shoots red solar energy from a hiding place in Spider-Man, so that at first he appears to be on a par with Superman. When the effect wears off, however, he can no longer do anything against the Kryptonian, who is already no longer defending himself against the attacks. Superman now suspects that it was all an arranged trick and offers Spider-Man to work with him to catch the real culprits. When they return, however, they find that Lois Lane and Mary Jane Watson have disappeared. Luthor and Doc Ock inform them as holograms that they have kidnapped the two. After a search, Superman and Spider-Man manage to free the two and finally confront the fleeing villains. Luther's plan was to devastate the world with a tsunami . Doc Ock does not allow that, however, because the earth is also his home and he also has no one left to rule over. With the two eventually fighting each other, the heroes can easily overwhelm them and put them back in prison.
