The name Supersaxo is the Latinization of a German- Swiss residence name . It is made up of the Latin words super (Latin: spatial: 'on', 'above' and Latin: spatial, poetic, postcl., Oj: 'from above') and saxum (Latin: 'rock [block] ') ', also' Fluh '). The origin is the Manegoldi family , who called themselves "de Saxo" in Latin after the castle uf der Flüe in Naters , they are also mentioned in German as the "Herren ab der Flue". The family was the owner of the episcopal office . Michel Supersaxo
