Suprotywna Balka ( Ukrainian Супротивна Балка ; Russian Супротивная Балка Suprotiwnaja Balka ) is a village in the Ukrainian Poltava Oblast with about 320 inhabitants (2018).

The first time in 1900 in writing mentioned village is the administrative center of the same name, 30.292 km² district municipality in the west of Rajon Novi Sanschary to which even the villages Kalnyzke ( Кальницьке , ) with about 2 inhabitants and Passitschne ( Пасічне , ) with about 170 inhabitants belong.

The village is located at an altitude of 126  m 2.5 kilometers east of the bank of the Velykyj Kobeljatschok ( Великий Кобелячок ), a 29 km long tributary of the Vorskla , 19 km west of the Novi Sanshary district center and about 50 km southwest of the Poltava oblast center . The road running through the village connects the national trunk road N 31 in the west with the international trunk road M 22 east of the village.
