Sure Cures is a 1946 American short film .

action

The film presents home remedies and well-known methods that are supposed to help the protagonist Xavier T. Schneckendorf against insomnia, hiccups and hair loss. To prevent his hair loss, Xavier has to choose between a headstand and the use of tonics. The insomnia (Morpheus and the Sandman read listlessly in books) should be combated with sheep counting and a sleep mask. Trying to get rid of the hiccups with plenty of water will fail.
