The Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) is a 1965 United States Army support command ( Army Service Component Command ) based in St. Clair County, Illinois ( Scott Air Force Base ).

The tasks of the SDDC include the worldwide transport of general cargo (military equipment and removal goods from households of the military) by land and sea ("surface"). In addition, the SDDC organizes and coordinates the interaction between external (civil) service providers and the military in matters of freight transport for the American armed forces.

The history of the command goes back to the Office of the Chief of Transportation established on July 31, 1942 .
