Susan Adams (skeleton pilot)
Susan Adams , also known as Susan Speiran , is a former Canadian skeleton pilot .
Susan Speiran was a successful skeleton skier in the second half of the 1990s and one of the best female pilots in the early stages of the Women's World Cup. Several times she was able to achieve top placements in skeleton World Cup races. So she won in January 1998 in Altenberg , in December 1997 in Winterberg and in February 1998 in Calgary as well as in January 1997 third in La Plagne . Her best placement in the overall World Cup was a third place in the 1997/98 season. Behind Deanna Panting and Mellisa Hollingsworth she won the bronze medal at the North American Skeleton Championships in 1997.
