Susann Heenen-Wolff

Andrew Weller (* 3. April 1956 in Duisburg as Susann Heenen ) is a German psychologist , psychoanalyst , university lecturer and publicist .

Life

Heenen-Wolff studied education , psychology and sociology at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, at the University of Frankfurt am Main , and at the Université Paris X, Nanterre . In 1986 she received her doctorate in Frankfurt am Main on Freudian psychoanalysis between assimilation and anti-Semitism . She was active as a journalist and editor, and published interviews with Holocaust survivors, among other things. She later trained as a group analyst in Heidelberg and as an individual analyst in Paris. She has lived in Belgium since 1995. In 2001 she became Professor of Clinical Psychology at the Université libre de Bruxelles , and in 2006 Professor of Clinical Psychology at the Université catholique de Louvain .

One of her best-known books is In the Hangman's House. Talks in Germany .
