Susanna Driano (born May 28, 1957 in Seattle , Washington , USA ) is a former Italian figure skater who started in a single run .

Driano was born in the United States but ran for Italy, her parents' homeland. From 1975 to 1980 she was Italian champion. During the same period she took part in World Championships and European Championships . At the European Championships in Helsinki in 1977 and in Gothenburg in 1980 , she won the bronze medal behind Anett Pötzsch from the GDR and Dagmar Lurz from the Federal Republic of Germany. She won her only world championship medal at the 1978 World Championship in Ottawa , when she was third behind Pötzsch and the American Linda Fratianne . It was the first medal for Italy in women's competition at world figure skating championships. Driano represented Italy at two Winter Olympics . In 1976 in Innsbruck she took seventh place and in 1980 in Lake Placid she was eighth.
