Susanne Lorentzon

Susanne Lorentzon ( Barbro Marie Susanne Lorentzon, married Borg; born June 11, 1961 in Västerås ) is a former Swedish high jumper .

In 1980 she was eliminated from qualifying at the Olympic Games in Moscow .

At the European Athletics Indoor Championships 1981 in Grenoble she was seventh and at the European Athletics Championships 1982 in Athens twelfth. In 1983 she was sixth at the European Indoor Championships in Budapest and was eliminated from the qualification at the World Athletics Championships in Helsinki .

In 1985 she won silver at the World Indoor Athletics Games in Paris and came fourth at the European Indoor Championships in Piraeus . At the European Indoor Championships in Madrid , she was eighth.

She was Swedish champion seven times (1979, 1981-1986) and five times Swedish indoor champion (1981-1986). In 1980 and 1984 she was Finnish indoor champion and 1981 Norwegian indoor champion.

Her mother Inga-Britt Lorentzon was successful as a high jumper and pentathlete.
